レギュラーモデルとは異なる特別仕様のCE 24 Semi-Hollow Custom Configuration!カタログ外のカラーに指板はエボニー(通常はローズウッド)、ピックアップは57/08(通常は85/15)となっております。
近年ますます希少で値段も高騰しているエボニー材の指板が通常モデルと同価格というのも嬉しいところ。57/08ピックアップは1957年PAFにインスパイアされたピックアップ。50年代当時のワインダー、当時と同じ素材のワイヤーを使用して製作されるPRS拘りのPAFクローンです。ハイゲインではないのですが、ギターそのものの特性をそのまま伝えてくれるような、クリアでレンジの広いトーンはセミホロウモデルとの相性も抜群です。

Classic CE Character with Semi-Hollow Style
ボルト・オン・ギターのスナップやサステインと、セミ・ホロウ・ボディの空気感あるレゾナンスを兼ね備えたCE 24 Semi-Hollowは、PRSのボルトオン・ラインナップに加わったユニークなモデルです。ボディはマホガニー・バックとメイプル・トップの伝統的な組み合わせ、そしてボルト・オンのメイプル・ネックにローズウッド指板です。ネックはPatternThinを用い、サテン・ニトロ・フィニッシュによって自然で癖になる感触に仕上げました。電子系統はボリュームとプッシュ・プル・トーン・コントロール、3wayトグル・スイッチによって、PRS 85/15ピックアップから全部で6種類のクラシックなサウンドを出すことができます。
オリジナルのCEは1988年に登場し、スナップやボルト・オン・ギターのきらめきが加えられ、クラシックなPRSデザインとクオリティをもたらしました。
