2012年にエドシーランの友人でスノウパトロールのフロントマン、ギャリーライトボディがシーランへのプレゼントとして発注したギターをジョージローデン自ら “Wee Lowden”というEdオリジナルのボディサイズとしてデザインしたことから始まった Sheeran by Lowden

本来、アイルランドの少数精鋭のクラフトマンによって製作される高価な「Lowden Guitar」だったが、今回のエドシーランの想いを受け、一部の製作過程をマシーンで自動化し、Build In Irlandであることを失うことなく、可能な限りのコストを抑えることに成功。
エドシーランの要望で家でもステージでも路上でもどんなプレイヤーにも対応できる2つのボディサイズを用意、ジョージローデンは自然の美しさと妥協のないトーン・演奏性を実現するために木材の厳選とデザインを設計しました。

本器はスモールサイズのモデルS、ノンピックアップのS01。
