Stratocasters from 1954 through 1961 continue to captivate guitarists with their beautiful resonance thanks to their lightweight ash bodies and slab-rosewood fingerboards. However, many guitarists share the desire to enjoy a vintage instrument that's out of reach but still offers a modern playing style. The Dover is the instrument to make that dream come true.

While the lightweight ash body provides a rich, acoustic-like resonance, the neck is designed to be thinner, and the fingerboard has a 10-inch radius, which is flatter than vintage instruments. It maintains classic specifications while offering modern playability. The finish is an ultra-thin lacquer that maximizes the natural resonance of the wood. It also features pickups with original wiring. In addition to the brilliance of a single-coil pickup, the humbucking pickup produces a bell-like, expansive high range, creating a sound that sets it apart from the typical S-S-H configuration. It also features an Emerson custom capacitor that is completely bypassed when fully turned up, delivering a clear tone without any muddiness.

This is the perfect guitar for guitarists who want to enjoy vintage-like looks while playing uncompromisingly on stage or in the recording studio, or who are looking for new expressive power in a Strat.
