1937年の発表以来、ギブソン・アコースティック・ライン最大のボディサイズを持つSJ-200。アコースティックギターの究極の到達点として今なお不動の人気を誇り頂点に君臨し続けるキング・オブ・フラット・トップ・ギターです。本器はヴィンテージ期ギブソンの雰囲気を醸す「Custom Shop Historic reissue Collection Series」よりリリースされた”1957 SJ-200”。サーマリーエイジドスプルーストップ、メイプルサイド&バック、2Pメイプルネック、ニカワ接着で仕上げたスキャロップドエックスブレーシング、ローズウッド指板、ローズウッドオープンムスタッシュブリッジ、オリジナルキーストーンゴールドペグ、VOSフィニッシュ。サイド&バックには現在枯渇により安定供給が難しいなか、ハンドセレクトによる厳選されたメイプル材を採用。サーマリーエイジド処理がなされたスプルースを使用したコチラのモデルはヴィンテージギブソン特有の乾いたサウンドと抜群のレスポンス、スーパージャンボサイズボディによる深みのある低音に加え、メイプル材の歯切れの良いサウンドがうまくマッチングし、さすがSJ-200と言える1本に仕上がっています。オリジナルハードケース付属。
