Product Description

ハウザー1世が数多く残したウインナー・タイプとは違って、明らかに19世紀ギターを忠実に再現するという意図を持って製作した作品です。

糸巻きがペグであること、ブリッジにサドルがないリュートのように弦を結えるだけのタイプであること、フレットも頂点が19世紀ギターに偶さかみられるウエイブ状なっていること、などからあえて初期19世紀ギターの音を再現するために製作されたのは明らかです。

音質はさすが一級の製作家にしか出せない境地、何とも言えない味わい深さがあります。

弦高は高く1弦側で3.5mm、6弦側で4.5mmありますが、表面板と弦との間隔が狭く、これ以上、弦高を下げられたとしても爪奏法では、表面板に爪が当たります。
弦長は580mmでかなり短く、そのため張力も弱いので、弾きやすくハウザー1世はあえて弦高を高めにセッティングして音量増大を計ったようです。
