レギュラーモデルとは異なる特別仕様のS2 Custom 24 Custom Configuration!カタログ外のカラーに指板はエボニー(通常はローズウッド)を使用。近年ますます希少で値段も高騰しているエボニー材の指板が通常モデルと同価格というのも嬉しいところです。

S2 Custom 24はPRSのフラッグシップ・モデルであるCustom 24を踏襲し、機能を削ぎ落しつつも優れた造形美を保ったデザインに収められています。往年のメイプル・トップ/マホガニー・バックの組み合わせはそのままに、クラシックなボディ・シェイプと非対称のべヴェルド・トップを採用し、パワフルなサウンドを生み出します。そしてUSA製 85/15ピックアップと5-wayブレイド・スイッチの組み合わせによって生み出されるサウンド・ヴァリエーションは、フラッグシップのCustom 24そのものです。
往年のPRSプレイヤーには馴染みがありつつも、初めて見るプレイヤーにとっては新鮮さが感じられ、幅広いジャンルの多岐に渡るプレイヤーのニーズに応えられる仕上がりとなっています。
S2シリーズの発売開始から10年目を迎え、新たなアップデートとしてUSA(メリーランド州)製のピックアップとエレクトロニクスが標準搭載となります。PRSではこのアップデートがS2シリーズへ特別な価値をもたらすと共に、魅力的な商品ラインナップのさらなる強化に繋がると考えています。
