本器はヴィンテージシリーズ、50〜60年代のラウンドショルダーを現代風にアレンジされたRSDシリーズより、レギュラーネック＋ノーマルサドルのRSD-45 TSB 43mm。ヴィンテージサウンドを追求すべく、改良を重ね進化を遂げたRSD-45です。

SWITCHのトップ材に使用しているアディロンダック・スプルースは、ニューヨーク州北東部のアディロンダック山地で採れた正真正銘の素材。軽量でいて強靭な良質材のアディロンダック・スプルースは様々な分野で需要も高く、古くからアコースティックギターに於いても最も適していると求められ続けています。
このモデルには人工的に焼き入れし乾燥させたトリファイド素材を使用しています。新しく楽器になった瞬間からヴィンテージサウンドのニュアンスを持っており、ノーマルサドルによるカッティングの切れの良さに加え、より図太くドライな低音域が特徴です。
