The 2005 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Hollowbody I is the embodiment of that ideal.
The completely hollow body structure achieves a natural and rich sound like an acoustic guitar. In addition to the magnetic pickup, it also has a piezo pickup, allowing you to create an amazingly wide range of sounds with just one guitar.
The body top is made of figured maple with beautiful grain, giving it a visually luxurious finish.
The sweet and sticky midrange produced by the mahogany back and neck is perfect for leads and backing.
The natural sound is pleasant, and it can be used for a wide range of purposes, from casual playing at home to full-scale live performances.
This instrument combines rich sound, high playability, and beautiful looks.
