U-Ⅱはコンプレッション動作をさせる心臓部にアナログのフォトカプラを用いたオプトコンプレッサーです。各動作のコントロールはThreshold、Ratio、Attack、Release、Side Chain High Pass Filter、Output Levelとコンプレッサーに備える必要なコントロールをすべて備えております。

ツマミが6つと多少多いかもしれませんが直感的にコントロールができるようになっております。
特にSide Chain High Pass Filterはコンプレッションを深くかけた際にLo-B弦やE弦の潰れ過ぎを防ぐことができ、多弦ベースにも対応しております。

■スルー音からチューニングされたサウンド
エフェクト時のサウンドはもとよりバイパス音も考えて音作りをしています。
入力と出力に異なったビンテージワイヤーを使用し、繋いだだけで艶を演出しています。

音質が良いと音楽的と言うのは似ているようで違います。U-Ⅱはどれだけ音楽的になれるかを追求しました。
