Product Description

1986年にMartin Seeliger（マーティン・ゼーリガー）氏によって創業されたLAKEWOOD。当時まだクラシックギターの国であったドイツを、何とかしてスティールストリングスの世界地図に載せたいという強い想いでスタートしたブランドです。ブランド名も本場アメリカの五大湖の一つ、エリー湖の湖畔の小さな町の名前"LAKEWOOD"から取ったものです。
それ以来、ドイツでは珍しい中規模のファクトリーとして、精度の高い確かな作りとセンスの良さで人気のランドです。
本器はシンプルを極めたナチュラルシリーズのオーディトリアムサイズ、M-14の2008年製USED品。

華美な装飾は一切なく、非常にシンプルで、その名の通りナチュラルなモデルです。ボディは導管を埋めない艶消し塗装で、木の質感をより感じていただけます。
幅広で厚みのある丸いネックは抜群の安定感で、ボディはいわゆるオーディトリアムボディをややディープにしたサイズ感です。650mmのロングスケールにこの幅広ネックはフィンガーピッキングでゆったりと弾いてくださいというメーカーのコンセプトが感じ取れます。
シダーのカラッとした暖かいトーンが心地よく、ボリュームも結構ございます。
所々キズはございますが、年式からするとまだまだ綺麗な状態かと思います。エンドピンは過去にピックアップを取り付けるために12mmに広げられておりますが、現在は取り外しております。
