ギブソンの1950年代のLG-2をモチーフに、デザインから音のニュアンスまで再現したコンパクトスタイルの楽器です。
オリジナルのギブソン・ヴィンテージとはニュアンスが異なるものの、少し泥臭い雰囲気があり、軽快に鳴る一本です。

USAの老舗楽器店で世界中に販売している Elderly Instruments の企画によって生まれた「OLD TOWN」シリーズです。
企画設計はElderly Instrumentsが行い、中国広東省のギターメーカー FARIDA にて生産されています。

ボディは14.25インチの00・LGサイズ、トップはソリッド・スプルース、サイド＆バックはラミネイト・マホガニー、ネック材はナトー、指板とブリッジはアカシア。オープンバックの3連ペグにはアイボロイド・ノブを採用しています。べっ甲柄のスモール・ピックガードにビンテージ・サンバースト・フィニッシュ。
ブレイシングはスキャロップドXブレイシングで、新品ながら豊かな倍音感を再現しています。

ナット幅は42.9mm、スケールは628mm。ネックグリップはスタンダードなラウンドシェイプです。本体は軽量で、マホガニー・ボディらしい軽快で抜けの良いサウンドを実現しており、サイズ以上に響きます。

ストロークでもフィンガースタイルでも演奏スタイルやジャンルを問わずオールマイティに対応。渋いブルースや弾き語りにも相性抜群です。
