たまたま現存する絶品のＭ．バルベロ1世を検証する機会を得て、その時の強烈なインパクトを受けたことが動機となって、松井氏が定番として製作することとなったモデルです。

バルベロ1世にも共通するいかにも腰のある音が出そうな目の詰まった表板を使用することによって、他モデルとの差別化を図っているものと思われます。

この作品はご案内の通り640mmのショートスケールです。
最近は弦長が630mmや640mmのショートスケールを標準的な体格の男性でも、時には第一線のプロギタリストも抵抗なく使用するようになってきています。
その理由は、明快＝何よりも弾きやすいこと。
また、1～2センチ弦長が短くても標準サイズの鳴り方と変わらないほどに今日の製作技術が進歩したことにあります。
