このリュートは製作されて36年経ちますが当時としては歴史的考証に立って製作されており、作りも精度が高く今でも安心して使用できる状態です。

重量も軽く音質も文句なしです。

80～90年代の邦人リュート製作家は数人程度しかいませんでしたが櫻井氏はその中の一人で、当時より本格的リュートを製作していました。
